Lior's 'Corner Of An Endless Road'  solo tour

To the casual observer Sydney singer-songwriter Lior emerged from nowhere back in 2005 with his stunning debut album Autumn Flow, but as is often the case with these matters this couldn’t be further from the truth. It was in fact the culmination of years of hard work by Lior, time spent honing both his songwriting and delivery down to the record that eventually captured hearts and minds all over the country.
 
The self-financed Autumn Flow – which perfectly showcased Lior’s rich voice and enchanting musical arrangements, as well as subtly reflecting his Middle Eastern heritage  – in time became one of the most successful independent debuts in Australian history, garnering Lior three ARIA nominations (including Best Male Artist) and a swag of other awards, including a prestigious Triple J ‘J Award’ nomination for Album Of The Year, and Autumn Flow going GOLD. 

Coinciding with the release of his highly anticipated second album Corner Of An Endless Road, Lior has now embarked on a regional solo tour which will bring him to the Sunshine Coast on Saturday, June 21 for a concert at the historic Majestic Theatre in Pomona. 

Lior spent the bulk of 2007 working on the new album which was produced by Franc Tetaz (Gotye, Architecture in Helsinki). He describes it as “a true representation of my musical landscape; think Led Zeppelin jamming with Nick Drake at a teahouse somewhere in the Middle East.” 

“The songs had time to breathe during the recording process and often took us to unexpected, demanding places.  These new tracks are intensely personal and candid. They represent landmarks of the emotional journey throughout the last two years,” explains Lior.

Not only have Australian audiences fallen for his distinctive allure, he has toured extensively internationally with Autumn Flow having been released in Japan, Europe, in the UK and America.

Incorporating a wide array of instrumentation Corner Of An Endless Road showcases Lior’s rich voice, enchanting musical arrangements and displays an honesty and artistic integrity.

Lior’s show is an incredible experience and he will be performing tracks from the new album as well as favourites from his debut album Autumn Flow.
