Business seminars and wedding celebrations, corporate conventions and community concerts, dance parties and specially themed film nights. They're all possible at the refurbished Majestic Theatre.The auditorium is normally configured to provide for 168 seats in the stalls and 51 in the gallery but the layout can be adapted to meet users' needs.
Talk to us about special seating and table arrangements for your function - 140 people at tables and chairs for a cabaret-style night, for example, or have the venue set up for 200 dancers on the superb, sprung dance floor.
You can opt for a fully-staffed event or venue-only hire, and there is a full range of top quality technical equipment available.

| We can also provide a ticketing service for your event. A charge of
$1.80 per ticket is applied to tickets priced at $15 and above, and
$1.60 to tickets priced below $15 ($1.20 and $1 respectively for community groups). |

Corporate rates apply to business conventions, promoted events, touring performances, any business/group/company which will produce profit for itself or its members.
Community users are not-for-profit organisations, schools, clubs etc, which must be able to demonstrate their status if required.
A Booking Application Form is to be completed for each booking and checked by the manager before a booking may be confirmed.
A deposit of 20% of the expected fee is required before a booking will be confirmed.
Live performance covers theatre, dance, opera, music performance etc
Non-performance: Presentations, award nights, conferences, lectures and the like.
Day: Unless an alternative agreement is reached with management a minimum of 1 week in advance of the booked date, a "day" is from 10am to midnight. If the venue is not vacated by midnight a fee of $50 per hour past midnight will be charged.
Hire without staff does not include use of technical equipment. Please check our technical rates schedule for these charges. Hirers must leave the venue as they found it.
Management reserves the right to monitor, and adjust if necessary, the sound levels of any event in the Majestic. This is not renegotiable.
Management may require a cleaning fee be paid if deemed necessary.
